Terms of use

What the service is

osaCV is an online tool for creating and exporting CVs and cover letters. We provide CV templates, a cover letter builder, written guidance and a compatibility-checking tool, and we work to keep the service available without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation.

Your account

• An account is optional. The editor, the preview, the ATS check and the cover letter all work without signing in; an account adds saving your CV with us so you can reach it from any device.
• Signing in is handled by Google, and you are responsible for protecting the Google account you use: whoever reaches it reaches the CVs you have saved here.
• You must be at least sixteen years old to create an account.
• You may not create an account using someone else's identity or impersonate anyone.
• You can delete any saved CV, or your account and all its data, at any time from your account page. Deletion from our database is immediate and permanent. Because we take a daily backup of the whole database, your data may remain inside an older snapshot for up to fourteen days and is then deleted automatically as that snapshot expires. Backups are never opened and are used only to restore the entire database after a failure.
• We may suspend or terminate any account that breaches these terms.

Free and paid features

• Building and previewing a CV, the applicant-tracking compatibility check and the cover letter are available at no cost.
• Downloading your file as a PDF or an image is available at no cost and without an account, with a light watermark. The Word file and the clean file come with the Professional version.
• The Professional version is a single payment per CV that removes its watermark for good and opens its AI tools. There is no subscription and no automatic renewal, and nothing is ever charged except by a payment you confirm on Moyasar's page.
• Saving your CVs to your account is not a paid feature and we do not intend to make it one.
• Prices for paid features may change; a change does not affect anything you have already bought — what you paid for stays yours at the price you paid.
• The refund policy is presented at the point of purchase and is subject to applicable law.

Your use of the service

• You alone are responsible for the accuracy of the information you put in your CV.
• The service may not be used for any unlawful purpose or to impersonate another person.
• You may not attempt to disrupt the service or gain unauthorised access to its systems.
• You may not resell, redistribute, or use the templates in a competing product.

Intellectual property

The template designs, guidance text, the osaCV name and the site interface belong to us. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the templates for your own CV and job applications.

The content you write inside your CV remains entirely yours, and we claim no rights over it.

Disclaimer

osaCV is a document preparation tool, not a recruitment agency, and we do not guarantee that you will obtain an interview or a job.

The ATS compatibility check is an indicative measure based on established best practice. It is not a guarantee that any particular applicant tracking system will accept your file, because these systems vary in configuration from employer to employer.

The service is provided "as is", without express or implied warranties.

Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including loss of CV data — whether stored in your browser or saved to your account. We take reasonable care to store and back up your data, but we do not guarantee against its loss; always keep a copy of your downloaded file.

In all cases our total liability will not exceed the amount you actually paid us in the preceding twelve months.

Changes and termination

We may amend these terms and will publish the updated version here with its review date. We may suspend access for any user who breaches these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the competent courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
