Pricing questions

Is the CV really free?: Yes. You build your CV and download the PDF with no account, no watermark and no cap on downloads. There is no point in the flow where you are asked to pay before getting your file.
Why is translation paid when everything else is free?: Because machine translation is the only feature that costs us money every single time it runs. The ATS check, by contrast, happens inside your own browser and costs us nothing — so there is no reason to charge for it, and it is the strongest argument we have that the tool works.
Is the subscription monthly, and does it renew?: Yes, monthly, and it renews until you cancel. Cancelling is one click on your account page, and your subscription keeps working until the end of the month you already paid for — we don't take back time you've bought.
Do I need an account?: Not to build, download, or run the ATS check. An account is useful if you want your CV saved and reachable from another device, and it will be required for the subscription once that launches — a subscription belongs to a person, so it has to attach to an account.
Where is my data stored?: Without an account: in your browser alone. With one: on our servers, against your account, and you can delete any CV or your entire account at any time from your account page. The privacy policy has the detail.
